Size Guide

PLEASE NOTE: All our measurements are shown in centimetres (cm).

To convert from inches please multiply your measurements by 2.5 i.e. 10 inches = approx. 25cm


Clothes


The 3 main measurements for our clothing range should be taken as follows:

1.) Chest - For chest measurement, measure the chest at its widest point, which is typically right behind the front legs.

2.) Body - Measuring should be done along the dog's backbone from the base of the head to the base of the tail. This is from the base of where the collar rests to where the tail is attached.

3.) Neck - The neck/collar size determines whether the dog will be comfortable wearing the clothing.


The chest measurement is the most important measurement as this must be large enough to fit around the dog, the body measurement of your dog can be larger than the item of clothing as this will just mean the item sits a little further away from the tail.


See individual product descriptions for size charts, different clothing types are sized differently so please check each product's size chart before purchase, if your dog is in between two sizes, we recommend you select the larger size.


Shoes

To measure your dog for shoes you should measure the part of the foot which makes contact with the floor i.e. the footprint and use those measurements against our size charts found on each product description page. The length refers to the measurement from the front to the rear of the foot (including claws), and the width refers to the measurement from side to side across the widest part of the foot.


Average Breed Sizes

Whilst we highly recommend you measure your dog prior to purchase, we understand this is not always possible. Please refer to the chart below to find the average sizes for the breed you are buying for. The sizes listed are the average sizes for purebred dogs, sizing may vary depending on your dog's age, weight and sex, males are generally larger than females.
